It's also NOT a Galaxy Tab or any of the numorous other high dollar high end tabs out there.That being said, lets talk about what it is. A VERY inexpensive, very cool android table and book reader. I have the white version, it came boxed nicely with everything I needed to get started. It doesnt have access to google's android market but it comes with a market if its own and I found there were PLENTY of places to get free apps all over the internet. I found the screen to be fairly responsive, however not as fast as MY Ipad. Thats right folks I have an iPad. I wanted something i could throw in the car or read on the boat or drop accidently without worrying about losing it somehow some way. My ipad cost $700 bones new and I found I really didnt like to take it with me anywhere that it might get damaged. She enjoys surfing the web right before bedtime and had been using her ipod touch, but the screen is soooo little it's hard for her to see anything. She is also disabled and there are days that she is in bed or on the couch all day unable to move. I wanted her to have something larger that was a multi-tasker that was easy to use. SHE LOVES THIS TABLET!! It has taken her a few days to get the hang of it, and she says she still hasn't discovered all of the bells and whistles, but it lets her surf the web without having to sit at a desk where the computer is. It's also an ereader and the built in Barnes and Noble app is awesome and very easy to use. It also comes with a couple of games (one of them is solitaire, she was thrilled :) )But she has already downloaded a few more from the app store. Touch screen is responsive but people need to understand that you need to apply a little bit of pressure. Build quality is decent and not cheap feeling. It also has a good amount of weight to it.
